Our Council
Executive Director
Harley Walts, BSW, LCDC-I
Harley was a teenager when she started learning about substances and how they can affect an individual’s life long term. HCSAC taught her skills and gave her the knowledge she needed in order to continue making positive choices in her life.
Harley graduated in 2023 with her bachelors degree in social work from Tarleton State University. She is now in her masters program in social work at Tarleton State University. She is expected to graduate in the Summer of 2024. She is also currently working on becoming a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).
She is now dedicated to giving back to her community through education and prevention of the use/misuse of illicit and legal substances.
She wants to be the person to prevent another 15 year old from becoming a statistic. Just like she was expected to be at 15 years old.
